Volunteer at the 2018 Lebanese Film Festival – we need you!
The Lebanese Film Festival (LFF) is on the hunt for some extra hands on deck for the 2018 event launching in August . Apart from the Lebanese cinema, food and drink binge, you’ll be the face of the festival, along with the team, which kicks off on Thursday, 16 August and runs until Saturday, 1st September 2018 at Cinema’s and Theatre venues in Bankstown, Broadway and AFTRS (Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park).
Roles include, but aren’t limited to, welcoming guests on arrival, checking VIP guests off the list, ushering guests to their seats; clerk/room manager; photography; photo booth guard, surveying audience members, checking tickets at the door, handing out program guides and being the ultimate brand ambassador while having heaps of fun!
You’ll also score a free shirt and some merch. If you’ve got a keen interest in film and events and are up for a bit of fun, then this is for you!
About LFF
Founded in 2011 and set up as a registered NSW non-profit organisation, LFF is now in its seventh edition where feature, short and documentary films will be showcased. With an objective to make arts accessible and to bring a premier international film festival event to Sydney, with a particular focus on Bankstown, the LFF aims to challenge the perception of Lebanon, its people and culture by showcasing a cross section of its many unique stories. The LFF is also committed to making a difference by donating 5% of the box office ticket sales to a cause – this year, every ticket purchased will be supporting disadvantaged children across Australia through the St. George Foundation.
