Synopsis

The Badri family escaped the pollution, garbage-strewn streets and corruption of Beirut for the serene beauty of a mountainous country retreat.

But their idyllic existence is shattered when a shadowy corporation with political connections start building a garbage landfill next door.

Souaraya (Labaki) a former renowned singer, and Walid, (an activist) are confronted by a world they’d left behind, spiralling the family into crisis.
