Synopsis

Best friends Khadeeja and Rana, aged 9 and 10, work in the potato fields to help feed their families.

Khadeeja develops life-threatening diabetes from a lack of nutritious food and prolonged PTSD. The overwhelmingly strong friendship between these two resilient girls, their desire for education, the love they have for each other, not only tug on the heartstrings but rip them clean apart. These children are a reality, their voices meek now but one day they will roar.

Watch out world, Khadeeja and Rana are coming through!
