Synopsis

The Cinema Rivoli was established in 1952, falling into disrepair it closed in 1989.

30 years later under the guidance of the Tiro Association for Arts, a group of inspiring volunteers banded together to renovate and breathe new life into the cinema, reinventing it as the Lebanese National Theatre, the first free theatre and cinema in Lebanon, creating a unique community hub, including a public library, café and small museum.
